CHALLENGE

unprofessional & NO BUDGET.

PROBLEM
The site looks out of date and unprofessional. There was no Google Analytics installed. In addition, there was no budget for PPC or premium content.

SOLUTION
Redesign the site with a more professional tone that would convince visitors to download and try the app. Utilize various sites and plugins to increase the SEO ranking of the site.

RESPONSIVENESS + UI/UX
With my redesign, the website is now more legible and coherent when viewed from a tablet or mobile device. In addition, the hero banner has been made more visually appealing.

CALL TO ACTION BUTTONS ON THE FOOTER
By incorporating download buttons for the app on the footer, every page now has a call-to-action button.

SITE SPEED

COMPRESSING IMAGES & ADDING ALT TAGS

GT METRICS
Using the EWWW Plugin, I was able to compress the images anywhere between 5 - 45%.to be compressed. By measuring the improvments with GT Metric, this resulted in the a reduction of speed from 1.7 to 1.2 seconds.

CHANGING TITLE AND META DESCRIPTIONS

FIXING A RANK MATH SEO PROBLEM
Upon using Rank Math SEO, I realize that the some of the pages weren't displaying my custom title and meta-description (instant indexing only works for the Bing and Yandex search engine). I was able to address this issue by creating a Instant Indexing API with Google Cloud.

REMOVING DEAD LINKS & EXCESSIVE H1 TAGS

CLEANING UP UNNECESSARY DIGITAL CLOGGAGE
Utilizing Screaming Frog, I was able to verify the pages that have changed title and meta-descriptions. In addition, I was able to remove any dead links and inactive pages.

Redesigning the website to make it look professional will definitely pay off in the long term, as this will build trust with visitors as soon as they visit the landing page.

SMALL CUMULATIVE CHANGES ADD UP
Despite this being my first digital marketing project, I feel like I learned a lot on the go. They were a lot of plugins and sites that I discovered while working on this that streamlined the process of SEO.
